Fun Fall Happenings in Schuylkill Haven

You don’t have to go far to find fun fall activities. Schuylkill Haven has a lot going on this month!

The Halloween Parade kicks everything off on October 20. Some of the local businesses will be open later for your enjoyment, and the parade starts at 7pm.

At the Island Park on October 21st and 22nd is the Haunted Hayride, complete with Live Scenes, food, and refreshments. Then on October 23, the Island Park is hosting a fall festival with activities for all ages, a pumpkin patch, and hayrides!

To round out the month, Penn State Schuylkill is having their Safe Trick or Treat night on October 27 from 5pm-7pm  with activities, games, and music. Then on October 31, Schuylkill Haven has its borough-wide trick or treat night from 6pm-8pm.

Walk-In Art Center’s 2nd Annual “Kick Up Your Heels”

The Walk In Art Center is celebrating its 2nd annual “Kick Up Your Heels” on October 29, 2011 at 7pm. The nights theme will be Venetian Masquerade Ball. Please join us!

Cost is $25.00 per ticket. We are accepting RSVP for this event. Attire is semi-formal.

The night is open to the public and will feature…..

* The band Mr Z. & The Nightshift will be performing
* Live auction of artist’s work
* Silent auction of artist’s work
* Tours of the Walk In Art Center
* Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres
* Artisan mart
